The Soldier and Family Readiness Center based services are supplemented with outreach to first termers and Families, newly arrived Soldiers and Families in the community, single parent families, geographically separated, and others with special needs. Additionally, ACS Unit Service Coordinators provide unit liaison to ensure commanders and leaders receive appropriate support for their Soldiers and Families.
Emergency Food Vouchers
Assistance is available for active duty soldiers, Reserve, National Guard on 30 days continuous active duty, widows and legal dependents. Upon approval, these Gift Cards/Certificates, are to be only for the purchase of food and used at locations designated on issued Gift Cards/Certificates.
Pre-Citizenship Classes
Offers the necessary foundation in American History, government and English for those persons in the community who are interested in becoming citizens or petitioning for family members. It provides a link between Homeland Security Immigration and Naturalization Service Regional Service Centers, Department of the Army Liaison and Installations.
Christmas Food Voucher Program
Assist families who cannot afford a Holiday Dinner by providing vouchers to purchase food items. Items purchased can be tailored to family eating habits or menu plans.
Crisis Intervention / Referral
Assistance is provided to active duty soldiers, retirees and their families. With in office appointments or trips to the victims’ location, Intervention is provided as needed. To ensure that the clients’ immediate needs and emotional stabilization are being met, Outreach Family Services can provide the needed intervention.
